I am Adam Pierce, and along with my wife Jill and son Adam Philip (Little Adam), have been attending Fulwood Methodist Church since October 1997.

I am 28, Jill is 33 and Little Adam is 2½ years of age. We live at Kilworth Height in Fulwood. I was born at home and have lived in Preston all my life. Jill was born in Farnworth, near Bolton and has lived in Preston for nearly 20 years. Little Adam was born on Sunday 11 February 1996 in Sharoe Green Hospital at 3.16pm weighing 5lb 8oz. (and how our lives have changed since that day!)

Jill’s and my paths crossed at a mutual friends house. We started going out with each other just over 12 years ago (when I was sweet 16 and Jill was 21!) We married almost two years later at St. George the Martyrs Church, Preston on Sunday 12 February 1989. After leaving Archbishop Temple School, I worked for seven years in retail. In March 1993, I began working for Ciceley Continental Limited in the motor parts department.

After graduating from St. Martins College, Lancaster, with a B.Ed (Hons) degree in Education and Biology in 1987, Jill began her teaching career at Baines Endowed Primary School in Marton, Blackpool. She currently teaches a Year 1 class of 33 children and has curriculum
